CAL SOLMAN 7.2 logical component groups empty?

Hello colleagues,

I have successfully registered to the CAL SOLMAN 7.2 trial system, after much trial and effort…

Thanks for SAP for many presentations and explanations – but some are misleading….

1. In the presentation "Solman72onCALfor SolEd v1" given at the SOLED 2015 meeting, it indicates to sign up in AWS for "the policy AmazonS3FullAccess to the group". This was not accurate and only after different instructions from a later PDF was I able to register.
2. The IP address of the CAL instance is sensitive to firewalls and organizational security stuff. So I always access via my private wifi or hot spot.
3. The IP address pf the CAL instance (you can see it in the CAL instance details) CHANGES every time the instance is activated for use. You cannot see it from your SAPLOGON! So if you need the IP to bring over the transport etc. this is important. Not explained in any documentation…

Otherwise – I could use some advice for this question:

I brought over a legacy project and imported it. Began the PREPARE_ACTIVATION, checked my project that was brought over.

But when I proceeded to the new Logical component groups part – nothing appears, which seems logical because the new CAL system does not know my old landscape..

But if it is empty – you cannot advance in the setup. No logical components connected!

Any tip?
